Indian Dakar Rally star Ashish Raorane has launched a series of programs under the Off Piste Racing venture. The program ensures to offer a collective and complete off-road motorcycle solution to the riders. To make things easier, the venture is divided into two categories allowing riders to choose between difficulty levels for their off-road experiences. It starts from basic training experiences which can be pursued by enthusiasts and enduro riders both, and goes all the way to a multi-day experience for the ones that wish to venture beyond trail riding and explore the fascinating world of off-road motorsport.
But wait, that's not all. Off Piste Racing also introduces fitness sessions to help riders maintain the fitness required to off-road with their full potential. With that said, let us now look at various offerings that Off Piste Racing has to offer:
DirtFit is introduced as a measure for novice enthusiasts and professional riders to get the necessary fitness foundation to ride off road on motorcycles. The session is focused on stability and balance training which also forms one of the basic building blocks for off-roading.
RallyScape is the first program on the list and is aimed at training adventure and enduro riders across all skill levels and is aimed at providing a solid foundation to build on. Riders will face natural environmental conditions while riding trails or enduro. Moreover the name is derived from the terrain where OPR’s training will take place.
All levels of training will be offered with a Level 1 training session, starting on 14th November 2021.
RallyVerse is a step up from RallyScape and is targeted towards the ones who wish to venture beyond trail riding. RallyVerse offers a multi-day residential training program that includes tackling all aspects of competitive riding. The program is aimed to focus on training on and off the bike, nutrition, as well as building the correct mindset, which are all necessary for a strong foundation in competitive rally sport.
Ashish had this to say on the occasion of the first DirtFit session, “By bringing these three offerings under OPR, we are able to close the gap that we have seen for motorcyclists who want to explore not just casual off-roading but also rallying in India as well as internationally. We want to bring together all my experience and use it to make the process simple and seamless for novices and serious off-roaders aiming to get into the riveting world of rallying.”
Ashish Raorane uses his extensive rally experience to come up with a venture that offers a 360-degree solution to all avenues of off‑road training, fitness, rally training and rally services. This venture adds to the budding off-road community and infrastructure in India and allows enthusiasts and professional riders to grow their capabilities in a controlled environment guided by experts from the sport.
