Vespa has announced a range of made to order helmets at the EICMA show. The helmets can be had in a range of sizes (from XS to XL), in a wide range of available colours with an array of combinations possible. What sets them apart are the skins that they can be had in: precious exotic crocodile, python or lizard skins. You can even have your initials engraved on the goggle strap positioned on the back of the helmet. At the most exclusive retail points, the customer can select one or more options from the colour palette that ranges from the most traditional shades – such as black, grey, midnight blue and camel – to bolder colours like red, electric blue, pink or yellow.

The demi-jet helmet (with ECE 22.05 approval) in ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), a thermoplastic material from the family of polymers used to create lightweight and rigid, sturdy but comfortable items, a hypo-allergenic interior in premium material, a miniature Italian flag on the lower left edge and a restraint system with a micrometric release strap.

Also unveiled at the show was a new range of apparel and accessories to be available in Vespa stores next year.

These include, the new rider’s accessories (gloves and helmet), technical wear (jacket with removable pads, under-seat rain parka, reflective and reversible sleeveless wind jacket) and Lifestyle attire (hooded sweatshirt, T-shirt and cap). Christened The Vespa Total Look 2018, the range draws inspiration from the Vespas of yesteryears.
