Moto Morini to launch in the Indian market soon
Italian motorcycle firm Moto Morini is all set to set foot in the Indian markets very soon. The company is one that has a rich and long heritage in motorsport and manufacturing motorcycles. The company has been around since 1937 and was founded by Alfonso Morini, an avid motorcycle enthusiast and racer himself. The company will launch four motorcycles in India, although we don’t know which ones just yet. Moto Morini is being brought to India courtesy of Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), the same company that is responsible for the presence of Benelli and Keeway in the country.
The company’s international website lists three motorcycles, the X-Cape adventure bike and the Seiemmezzo which is available in two variants — SCR and STR avatar. The SCR is the scrambler and the STR is a more road-focussed bike. The X-Cape is a full-blown adventure bike with proper ADV styling, a 19 and 17-inch spoke wheel setup and a bunch of accessories that make it better suited for adventure touring purposes.
Commenting on the announcement of the launch of Moto Morini in India Vikas Jhabakh, managing director, Adishwar Auto Ride India PVT. LTD said, “We are delighted to introduce this renowned and prestigious brand to the Indian Motorcyclists. At Adishwar Auto Ride India, one of our key endeavors is to create values through our relationships with our customers. With the introduction of Moto Morini, we aim to cater to the requirements of Indian buyers in the Premium Mobility segment. With our tenure and experience in the superbike segment, we are certain of successfully establishing the brand in the country”
As aforementioned, we still can’t confirm which motorcycles will be making their way to Indian shores and whether Moto Morini is developing bikes specifically for the Indian market and that remains to be seen. But we are definitely hopeful that the company brings in the X-Cape and the Seiemmezzo STR and SCR. Stay tuned for all updates on Moto Morini’s debut in the Indian market.
