When the GoI made a decision to reduce custom duties on CBU motorcycles in the Union Budget Session 2018-19, it was music to all the big bike manufacturers, as this would attract more customers and give a much needed boost to sales in the segment. American bike manufacturer Indian Motorcycle has announced price cut of up to 3 lakh. The price cut will be reflected across its line-up from today, ranging from the Indian Scout Sixty to the Indian Roadmaster.

On the slashing of prices across its model range, Pankaj Dubey, managing director and country head, Polaris India said, “We are glad that the Government has rationalised the import duty structure to 50 per cent across the range for imported bikes. The new attractive price of our products available in India will definitely lead to more sales. This will also create opportunities for enthusiasts to buy our iconic products and be a part of the Indian Motorcycle family.”

Here is the updated price list of the Indian Motorcycle line-up:

Model Price, ex-showroom
Indian Scout Sixty Rs 10.99 lakh
Indian Scout Rs 12.69 lakh
