#BestOf2017 – Ducati Supersport S

The bike that bridges the gap between a sport tourer and a sport bike, the Ducati SuperSport is one of a kind.  It has enough and more performance for your trackdays but at the same time can be ridden around on a daily basis without burning your thighs and busting your back as you cut through traffic ridden streets. Handling is absolutely sublime and so is the linearity of power delivery. And, in the best traditions of Italian design, the SuperSport S is super stylish and good looking as well. Good enough to turn the head of our in-house Brit bike crazy bawa. He says the best part about the bike, besides the engine, chassis, looks and everything else, is the Quickshifter. He could actually use it at revs as low as 3000 and when you downshift there’s an auto-blip function for the throttle. What’s not to like?
