Sandhar Amkin Industries enters the market with Mavox helmets

Sandhar Amkin Industries has launched its flagship product- a range of motorcycle and scooter helmets under the brand Mavox. The brand will soon launch a range of safety and lifestyle riding accessories. The three helmets launched by the brand are OX10, OX11 and FX Max.

The company has launched these helmets at very affordable prices. The OX helmet with single visor is priced at Rs 1485 while the dual visor variant costs Rs. 1650. The FX Max is available in solid colors and with graphics, priced at Rs 2400 and Rs 3000 respectively. The helmets are ISI-certified and feature UV-resistant paint.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Ayyushman Mehta, managing director, Sandhar Amkin Industries Pvt. Ltd. said, “While efforts are being made for the enforcement of certified two-wheeler helmets in India, we still have a way to go. Not surprisingly, most two-wheeler accidents in India result in head injuries. In such a situation, helmets that are not just accessible but highly protective and aesthetically designed at the same time are the need of the hour, and with Mavox we strive to deliver on that demand.”

Headquartered in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana, the company plans to introduce a range of functional, safety and lifestyle products. Sandhar Amkin Industries has set up their plant with a manufacturing capacity of over 2 million helmets per annum to cater the largest two-wheeler market in the world. The company is focusing on research-driven technology at each step to maintain the quality and safety standard. The initial investment for this project is Rs 25 crore.

The companies have a combined experience of over 70 years in manufacturing diverse automotive components for OEMs as well as aftermarket components for domestic and international markets.
