Avan Motors Trend-E electric scooter unveiled

Avan Motors has taken another step in creating sustainable mobility solutions by unveiling the Trend E smart electric scooter at the Automobile Expo 2019 in Bengaluru. It comes in as an addition to its already existing Xero series of electric scooters.

The Trend E provides sustainable mobility solutions

The Trend E is powered by a lithium-ion battery providing a range of 60km with a single battery. Add another battery and the Trend E provides a range of 110km. It also comes with a top speed of 45kmph. The charge time for the scooter’s lithium-ion battery is two to four hours. The Trend E comes equipped with a telescopic front suspension with coil springs at the rear. The scooter comes with alloy wheels and disc and drum brakes on the front and rear wheels. The max load the Trend E can take is a substantial 150 kilos.

Avan Motors e-scooter line-up includes the Xero and Xero+, and the Trend E is their third product. The launch of the second phase of the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME-2) scheme, with Rs. 10,000 crore allocated for a three-year long period, has come as a much-needed, boost to EV the industry in India.
