On August 11, Suzuki Motorcycles India Private Limited (SMIPL) launched the new Gixxer SF with ABS (Anti-lock Bracking System). The new Gixxer SF comes in two variants, carburetted and fuel-injected; the former being priced at Rs 95,499 while the later at Rs 99,312, all prices ex-showroom, Delhi. ABS is standard on both the variants of the Gixxer SF.
ABS stands for Anti-lock Bracking System; it helps avoid wheel lock-up in cases of sudden braking and hence enhances safety of the rider.
You can buy the new Gixxer SF ABS in two new colours – Metallic Trition Blue (YSF), and Metallic Mat Black (KGL).
“We are pleased to announce the ABS fitted variant of Gixxer SF. The safety and well-being of our customers is of paramount importance for us at Suzuki. The new variants not only enhance the rider’s safety, but also make every ride more exciting. We are confident that the new Gixxer SF variant will strengthen our foothold amongst the conscientious young riders who want to make a style statement, but also don’t want to compromise on their safety.” said Mr Sajeev Rajasekharan, EVP, Sales and Marketing, SMIPL.
The addition of ABS on the Suzuki Gixxer SF is a welcome move, as no other bike in this category gets ABS in India.
