MV Agusta Dragster 800 ‘Blackout’ debuts in Verona

The MV Agusta ‘Blackout’, one of the two heroes from MV Agusta has debuted in the 2017 Motor Bike Expo in Verona. The extreme specials are derivatives of the Brutale, the naked-icon of the Italian brand. The freshly baked special livery machines were showcased at the Motor Bike Expo that is underway in Milan, Italy right now showing off the motorcycles to keep the enthusiasts’ eyeballs abuzz around the Italian brand. The first installment of the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR was the ‘Ballistic Trident’ that debuted last year on international custom scene.

The motorcycles are built off the Dragster 800 platform, and will be powered by a 798cc engine that delivers maximum power of 114bhp and 83Nm of torque. The ‘Blackout’ is splashed with abundant amount of black paint that exhibits a dark, menacing vibe. The design of the ‘techno-café racer’ is pretty interesting with clip-on handlebars, a front LED illumination that can be activated through a side switch, the auxiliary lights on the fork bottoms, pedal shaped front brake discs, and the addition of a push start/stop button giving the motorcycle a new design element. The ‘Blackout’ wears a beautifully crafted round headlamp with a low mounted dashboard that gets a 4.3-inch HD screen for rear vision along with an integrated water-proof camera allowing for a 170 degrees viewing angle.

The Blackout is a collaborative effort between Varese factory and Valter Moto Components, whereas the paintwork has been contributed by Tecnoart Sersan.
