The Sena momentum Helmet is for riders who would like to connect with other riders while riding in a pack or if you just want to listen to some country music while cruising down the countryside without your wired earphones. The Sena full face helmet offers Bluetooth connectivity, intercoms to chat with other riders and in-built speakers to listen to music if you are riding alone.
There are three options to choose –Momentum Lite, Momentum and the Momentum Pro. Momentum Lite is the entry level model which offers four Bluetooth connections. The Momentum and Momentum Pro come with eight Bluetooth connections. Momentum Pro additionally gets an integrated 2K camera with a 135° field of vision on the top to record your ride with video recording for two hours.
The intercom connection has a range of 1.6km. Charging the Momentum Lite for two and half hours will give you 27 hours of talk time. The other two will back you for 20 hours before they run out of juice. All the tech bits contribute an overall weight of 1750-1800 grams, which is on the heavier side. While the helmets come with a five year warranty period, the electronic equipment in the helmet gets two years. The helmets come with DOT and ECE certifications.
