Intermot 2018: Suzuki GSX-R1000 gets upgraded

Suzuki has showcased their 2019 GSX-R1000 with minor updates at the Intermot 2018 Motorcycle show. The 2019 GSX-R1000R will now be equipped with steel braided brake lines as opposed to the rubber hoses on the previous bike. The ‘R’also gets a new adjustable swingarm, an up/down quickshifter. The base and the ‘R’ variant will come shod with Bridgestone RS11 tyres.

Mechanically the motorcycle stays the same, continues to be powered by a 999.8cc inline-four engine delivers 200bhp at 13,200rpm and 117.6Nm of peak torque. The 2019 range will go on sale in Europe by 2019.
