With the likes of HDs and Triumphs capitalizing on the ‘Bobber’ craze, Indian Motorcycles decide that they want a piece of this lucrative cake. Called the Indian Scout Bobber, the motorcycle has just been launched in IBW 2017, Goa. The Bobber is powered by the same 1133cc v-twin liquid cooled unit that does duty on the Scout which makes “100 Barely-Tamed Horsepower” as Indian likes to call it. The bike sits lower by 25.4mm to the ground, gets re-positioned footpegs and Street-Tracker handle bars. The result is a more aggressive stance and a different riding position, when put next to the standard Scout.

The motorcycle gets a blacked out treatment by Indian which include the rims, headlight nacelle, and the slotted exhaust. The cast aluminum wheels are wrapped with knobby Kenda K761 tires. To complete the ‘Bobber’ look, the fenders have been chopped and gets a side mounted number plate, a low-slung leather seat, and bar-end mirrors too. The bike goes up against the likes of the Triumph Bobber, and the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber. You can have one in your garage for Rs. 12.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom)!
