Hero Motocorp to launch new motorcycles tomorrow

Team Fast Bikes

Hero Motocorp will be launching new motorcycles tomorrow, December 21, 2017. Though there are no confirm news about which models will make their way into Hero’s fleet, it is safe to predict that the new fleet will consider an addition of new Passion XPro and Super Splendor. The Super Splendor will be powered by a 124.7cc engine that pumps out 9bhp of power and 10.35Nm of torque. The Passion X Pro was discontinued early this year with the rise of the BS-IV emission norms. It was offered with a 109.1cc engine with 8.58bhp and 9.36Nm of torque.

Both the bikes are expected to receive new graphics along with the i3S update. Mechanically the bikes are most likely to carry the same engines. Hero Motocorp had introduced the i3S technology in the Splendor i-Smart in 2014. According to the company, the i3S technology helps in reducing the fuel consumption and aids convenience. It is basically a start/stop function that shuts off the engine if it is idling in neutral; the engine is turned ON again, automatically as soon as the clutch-lever is pulled.
